About Victoria

Victoria always had an interest in interior design and after many years as a stay at home mum, she enrolled in the Nanette Cameron School of Interior Design (NCSID) in Auckland.  Here she learned SketchUp - a CAD / 3D modelling program - and fell in love with bespoke cabinetry design, in particular kitchens.

Victoria spent 3½ years working at an award winning interior design studio in Auckland, honing her CAD skills and learning all about kitchen, bathroom and cabinetry design.

Victoria Gaylard Design was born out of a passion to design kitchens for her own clients.  Victoria is very experienced at planning the best layout for your kitchen so that it functions brilliantly for the needs of your home and family, as well as helping you to find the best materials so that it looks beautiful too.

​

In the pursuit of ongoing professional development, Victoria is currently enrolled in the NKBA Diploma in Kitchen Design and is a Bronze tiered member of the Designers of the NKBA.  She is also a member of the Nanette Cameron Guild of Interior Designers (NCGID).

​

Victoria also enjoys bathroom and bespoke cabinetry design - she believes that great cabinetry really can make or break a space!

​

She lives with her husband and 3 children in Hauraki on Auckland's North Shore and can be regularly found walking their dog on Takapuna Beach.
